I have been photographing Melbourne couples for over five years and often get asked by my couples how they should
prepare for their wedding photos fotografies gamou. fotografies So I have decided to put together a few tips
to help make couples feel confident about their wedding photography. Pre Wedding Photo Shoot - Many couples find that having
a pre wedding photo shoot helps them calm nerves and lets them get to know and feel comfortable with their
photographer. It can also be a good chance to co ordinate your makeup and hair trial and see how it
looks in photos. Beauty- My advice to brides is less is more! Avoid caking on makeup, it looks too much
in photos and normally doesn't last all day. A natural look will make your images fresh and timeless, and you
won't need to be reapplying makeup all day. If you are worried about any blemishes that might show up speak
to your professional photographer, they will usually be able to retouch images in post production fotografies gamou. Allow enough
time for portraits- I can't stress enough to my couples to allow enough time for portraits between the ceremony and
reception. Make sure to allow at least 30 minutes for every location you wish to have photos at. It may
seem more than enough time, but when you have bridal party to move to each location you will find it
does take a little extra time. How to pose- Don't over think it! Photos turn out best if you don't
over think and feel self conscious throughout the day. I always like to make my couples laugh and feel confident
in front of the camera. Your professional photographer should make you feel relaxed and give you direction so that you
look your best in your images. Enjoy- This is going to be one of the happiest days of your life
so don't let the little things ruin it! If you are acting and feeling glamorous and gorgeous and do not
let little things get to you, your wedding photos are going to be brilliant! It's all about you and your
husband, so enjoy your special day!

Be sure to take a lot of photographs on your wedding day. They will always remind you of the beautiful
moments you went through on your special day. In order to capture those moments in the best possible manner you
need to make a lot of preparations. You may need to hire a professional wedding photographer, make a list of
important events you want to be photographed, choose good locations, gather every relative and what not. Here are some important
wedding photography tips which will help you to make your photographs very impressive and unique. First, you have to hire
a good professional wedding photographer well in advance by properly checking his credentials and other details. If you delay the
booking you may not be able to find good photographers. Once you have decided on a person you need to
work together to make him understand all your requirements. fotografies gamou You can give him all the details about
the important moments you want to be captured, your relatives, and the various locations to include so that he can
be prepared for the job. Make a complete list of shots you would like to be made and hand it
over to him well ahead so that he can be prepared for the event. Quite often, you miss a lot
of people in your photographs, especially some of your close relatives. In order to avoid such situations, it is better
to appoint a family coordinator who can guide the photographer to take photos of all the important guests without missing
anyone. This will be a great relief to the couple as they can continue with the ceremony. To get the
best wedding photographs you need to do a lot of preparation. You can make a visit to beautiful locations close
by to look for places you want to be photographed. fotografies gamou This will also be very helpful on
your special day to quickly go to these locations and take shots. For additional assistance, the photographer can also have
a second photographer to help him out on certain occasions. Some moments may be difficult to shoot from a single
location. In the presence of a second photographer he can take the shots from another angle as well. This will
be very helpful to choose the best shots of the important events. Apart from this the photographers should be well
prepared with their cameras which should be in good working condition and include all other necessary items which might be
useful in emergency situations. There might be some moments when something goes wrong in the midst of the wedding. Such
situations can be used to capture a lot of fun images which will be appreciated and fun to look at
later on. So it is up to the photographer to use his own creativity and initiative to provide the best
wedding photography for everyone to remember.

Wow, it's been a roller coaster ride for me in the last 3 years. As well as holding down a
full time job as a marketing manager I've also been building up my wedding and portrait photography business. Whilst it's
been very challenging juggling the two elements in my life, it's also been richly rewarding, and I've learned some very
valuable lessons. So what advice would I offer other like-minded photographers looking to build a career in social photography Here
are some of my top tips:1. Plan your week ahead - When you are juggling both a job and a
business it's absolutely critical that you manage your time effectively. A great tip is to spend an hour every Sunday
afternoon planning your week ahead fotografies gamou. Also, plan in time for your different 'roles', such as 'Photographer', 'Day
Job', 'Father' and 'Husband'. It's vital to keep some balance in your life, so plan in some down time and
recreation. 2. Look at other photographers' work, but keep true to your style- Whilst it's great to look at other
photographers' work and style to get inspiration, you shouldn't overdo this. fotografies gamou It's important to develop your own
unique style and trust your own artistic instincts. At the end of the day it's your own unique vision and
style that you must sell, and this is what becomes your brand identity. Rest assured that you are probably much
better than you think you are! 3. Write a business and marketing plan- If you don't set yourself objectives for
each year, and write out a plan of how you will achieve them, there's a high probability you won't achieve
them. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it's a fact! We write a business plan every January for the year
ahead, set out all of our objectives and then work on a marketing action plan for how we are going
to achieve them. Write a plan, but more importantly, work the plan! 4 fotografies gamou. Keep networking- Keep building
links with other wedding suppliers, such as other photographers, make up artists, venues and dress makers. It's a great way
to raise the profile of your company and also generate leads. If possible join a local business networking group. 5.
Maintain a positive mental attitude- This is less tangible but incredibly important. It's tough getting a business off the ground
in the current economic climate, and you're going to face knock-backs and challenges along the way. You must keep your
objectives in mind through it all, and remain positive. You have to build up some mental resilience. In addition I
would say that you should try to adopt the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen, which basically means that you seek to
continuously improve every aspect of your business and photography. Good luck! Keep positive and above all persist, and I'm sure
you'll make it as a professional photographer.

Sydney is a city blessed with amazing beauty. Beauty found in natural rock formations, in a sparkling harbour and in
the most world-renowned and unique buildings. Beauty that enhances the beauty of every bride. That's wedding photography Sydney style wedding
photos set against the most gorgeous backdrops available anywhere in the world. . . The location opportunities for wedding photography
Sydney has on offer are endless. The harbour and Opera House are timeless classics. However they aren't to every brides
liking or realistic for every couple. fotografies gamou The views from the Rocks, Observatory Hill, the Botanic Gardens or
Opera House are out of the question for majority of the people if you are not having a city-based wedding.
The travel time to the wedding photo location shoot and the added stress which places upon the day aren't worth
the result. There are good-looking buildings and features all over the city of Sydney and in each direction. A more
candid, natural and in certain ways photo journalistic style is being adopted by the style of wedding photography. Its about
wedding photographers capturing the essence of the day. It is a wedding photo style in which photographers are in the
background shooting the raw emotion. The wedding photographs in this style showcase the excitement, the anticipation, the joy, and the
love which are the wedding day. They're less artificial or formal wedding photos in favour of real interactions, real hugs,
real smiles and as-it-happens photography. That's the challenge for any photographer who is not a specialist wedding photographer. There's a
practised art to capturing moment as they unfold on film. There's a knack to being in the right place at
just the right moment ready to capture the perfect shot. It is the proficiency beyond photographers other than the most
competent specialist wedding photographers. Wedding photography Sydney style is about showcasing the bride and the groom, the energy and emotion
of the day and the beautiful wedding locations Sydney can provide.

Couples that are looking for something very different from their usual surroundings are now considering the option of a destination
wedding package. Part of this package includes the services of a professional photographer. In the west these photographs are usually
taken on the day during the ceremony, be it in a 13th century gothic church or a shimmering white sandy
beach in Australia. In Asia the phenomenon known as destination wedding photography has a slight twist fotografies gamou. Instead
of the photographs been taken on the wedding day they are usually taken weeks or months in advance of the
big day. This fashion of shooting pre wedding photographs in exotic locations is more popular in Asian countries like Taiwan,
Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan and Malaysia than anywhere else in the world. fotografies gamou Many Asian couples are
looking for exciting romantic fairytale European towns and cities to have their pre wedding destination photographs taken. Central and Eastern
Europe offer an unparalleled choice of romantic fairytale settings. With centuries of history behind them cities like Budapest in Hungary,
Prague in the Czech Republic, Vienna in Austria and Krakow in Poland have magnificent castles and cathedrals which provide the
perfect backdrop for pre wedding photographs. Budapest in particular is a fantastic city at the heart of Eastern Europe; known
as the Paris of the east it has an amazing array of architectural styles including gothic, baroque and art nouveau.
Aside from the photographer and assistant most overseas pre wedding photography packages include the services of a professional makeup artist.
The makeup artist plays an essential role in insuring that the couples look their very best for their pre wedding
photographs fotografies gamou. Usually the bride and groom bring their own wedding clothes of choice for the shoot although
some photography packages also include the option of hiring wedding dresses and suits from a local wedding specialist. However in
the end it's the professional photographer who's the dream maker creating memories the couple will look back on and treasure
for a lifetime. I have recently begun shooting overseas pre wedding photographs mainly for the Asian market in Budapest Hungary
and surrounding Central European countries. Budapest in particular offers couples unparalleled opportunities to shoot their dream like photos in numerous
fairytale settings around the city such as at the Buda Castle, Fishermen's Bastion, the Chain Bridge, the Parliament and the
Freedom monument just to name a few. Couples who have had their pre wedding destination photographs shot in Budapest have
all agreed that this beautiful city far exceeded their wildest expectations.

Weddings are among life's most important events. For this reason, many people want to keep records of their weddings. They
want to be able to show their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren (if they live that long) how 'fabulous' they
looked on their wedding day. And the more vivid the 'record' that can be kept, the better. Now while wedding
photography is integral part of modern weddings, with even couples in the remotest parts of the world making an effort
to at least get a photographer for their weddings, this has not always been the case. After all, photography is
a fairly recent invention; it having been invented in 1826. Worth noting too is the fact that photography, in its
early days, was an expensive venture; meaning that much as they would have loved it, many wedding couples could simply
not afford the 'luxury' of wedding photography. There are three inventions, or rather advancements in the technology of photography, that
have helped to truly changed wedding photography - for the better. One of these was miniaturization of the camera. Today,
cameras are expected - by definition - to be relatively small and easily portable. But that has not always been
the case. Early cameras looked more or less like today's X-ray machines. They were the sorts of machine that filled
a room! And they were definitely not the sorts of machines that one could carry around. Their use tended to
be limited to studios where they were kept; so that people who needed to be photographed had to go to
the studios for the purpose. This meant that they were largely useless, as far as wedding photography. fotografies gamou
A couple that wanted to be photographed on their wedding day couldn't get snapped during the ceremony itself, but rather
had to wait till after the ceremony - to go to the studio and get snapped. This was off-putting -
and for couples that were not too sentimental, it is something they couldn't bring themselves to do. Second was the
development of color photography. As well all know, weddings are usually highly colorful events. Yet early photography was in black
and white, meaning there was no ways of bringing out the color in them. This, of course was to change
in the early 20th century when color photography - though expensive then - came into being. Through this invention, even
couples who were financially constrained found themselves being tempted to bear a considerable expense, just to have the wedding photos
in color. Third was the development of digital photography, a relatively recent invention. One thing that digital photography was known
to do is to turn everybody into a photographer: a great departure from the situation before, when photography was an
art for the 'specialist' photographers only. Thus in modern weddings, you will not only see the official photographer with a
camera, but also the friends and relatives of the couple clicking away, some on their phones (as many phones nowadays
come embedded with digital cameras) fotografies. fotografies gamou Another thing that digital photography has done is to make
photography inexpensive. Thus a couple can take as many photos on their wedding as they want, without the worry of
running out of photographic film - a major concern with traditional wedding photography.

Techniques, 4 Stunning Effects, 4 PicturesThe Zoom Drag (1/10th of a second, f/4, 70mm->24mm) This shot is perfect for dancing
couples at receptions. The couple captured in a moment in the center of the frame - a background of streaking
lights blurred in bocca behind them, it's simply beautiful. To achieve this effect, I've found a dark scene on the
dance floor where there are a bunch of small ambient lights in the background. I have a flash a external
flash on my camera and I'm bouncing it off the ceiling to get good light onto the bride and her
father. Putting the shutter at 1/10th of a second, and the aperture at f/4, I'm zoomed in all the way
at 70mm on my 24-70mm lens. I brace myself, because as soon as I click the shutter, I zoom out
as fast as possible, hoping to get to 24mm as soon as the shutter closes. If executed correctly, the couple
will be sharp, captured by the flash of my camera, while the lighting in the background will be dragged across
the background. Getting the timing right takes some practice, but it's worth it. The Open Shutter Spin (1/50th of a
second, f/2. 8, 24mm) Another technique that will give you stunning images at a reception. Find a similar setting, dark
dance floor with lots of cool source ambient lights in the frame. Position your flash to light a dancing couple,
choose a focal length, and then brace yourself for the shot. Hold the camera out from your face a little
bit, and as soon as you press the shutter, rotate the camera counter clockwise (clockwise if your lefty) as fast
as you can. fotografies gamou This will freeze the couple in the center of the frame, while dragging the
ambient lights in the surreal and beautiful to create a beautiful framing effect. The Candid Shot (>50mm) It's always the
case. A moment is happening, you lift your camera to your eye, frame the scene, and then-the bride or groom
stares you in the face and the moment is ruined. Catching candid moments without ruining them is hard work. So
I cheat. I use my super-secret spy lens from Photojojo at . This lens, looks just like a normal lens,
but it has a 45 degree mirror in it and a circular hole in the barrel that lets you take
pictures sideways. You have to see it to believe it, but this attachment lets me take pictures of moments through
the entire wedding without anyone ever looking up and ruining my picture fotografies gamou. Candids just got a lot
easier folks. The Budget Ring Flash Another tech trick. Ring flashes produce vibrant light that makes your clients look like
high-fashion models. . . but. . . they cost somewhere between $300 and $500 dollars. The Good News is, I've
found the "CoCo Ring Flash". Google it! This baby takes the light from your external flash and uses fiber optics
to re-route the light into a circular pattern JUST LIKE A RING FLASH! And it's only $50 at stores like
Amazon. It looks fantastic, and you'll clients won't will be thrilled with the unique images you can produce with it.
That's all for now, keep shooting and innovating your creativity! Check out my website to see examples of me using
these techniques as well.

There are many getting-ready poses that cannot be missed prior to the big event. Most photographers, even beginners, are aware
of the before shots. fotografies gamou However, many photographers neglect to create their own "brand" of creativity or poses.
One important and traditional shot before a wedding would be the bride and her party getting ready. Pictures of the
bride getting ready are absolute classics. Any good photographer can create the standard photographs of the wedding but how do
you put your personal "twist" on things Could the mother in law perhaps be trying to "strangle" the bride I
know that's a little far-fetched but many clients who have a great sense of humor would love this type of
staged comedy. You'll want shots of the bride getting advice from her beloved family including her mother, grandmother, aunts and
girlfriends as well as applying cosmetics and fixing hair, putting on the dress, garter, and jewelry. If the bride is
religious you could even have her reading silently from the bible, perhaps a prayer from Psalms. This is also a
great pose for the groom before the wedding vs fotografies gamou. afterward with the idea in mind that they
are individually praying for a blessing on their wedding. What you'll be allowed to shoot greatly depends on the preferences
and ultimate decision of the bride and groom. You can apply the same "getting ready" shots of the groom and
his party of merry men getting ready for the big event. fotografies gamou Sometimes it's not possible to get
both so whatever you do, don't forget the bride! If the bride and groom are getting ready at different locations
it won't be possible to shoot both at the same time. It might be a good idea to remind the
bride and groom beforehand so that they can make arrangements for one of the groomsmen to take some cool shots
of their getting ready scene. Remember that tradition maintains you should get more shots of the bride than anyone else
including the groom. You can easily get shots of the men together just before the actual ceremony which constitutes "before
shots". And, it's such fun taking the man shots being manly. One never knows what type of pose or action
you'll catch in film while the men are hanging out before the wedding.

A wedding by its nature can last many hours and have many different locations. For these reasons will find yourself
taking pictures where there are many different light sources that will affect the white balance of your photos. For example,
you may be shooting in a church that has a lot of candles and tungsten lights, but later in the
night you may find your flashes competing with the lights on the dance floor. In part one of this article,
I am going to give you some tips on how to be aware of your light sources, and tips on
shooting images with correct white balance in basic situations. In part two, I am going to continue these tips in
more complex lighting situations. The first and most important tip I can give is to shoot in RAW fotografies
gamou
. RAW is much more forgiving than JPG. In JPG, your image is stuck with the white balance setting you
had on the camera when you shot the photo. With RAW, even if you had your white balance set wrong
on your camera while shooting, you will later be able to adjust the white balance while editing your photos. Moreover,
most of the programs to edit RAW have a white balance tool. This means while editing your photo in one
of these programs, you just need to click on the white balance tool, and then click on a part of
the photo that should look white. You are shooting a wedding right Then in almost every picture you will either
have a bride in a white dress to click on, or else the white shirts of the men in the
wedding. If that doesn't work, sometimes you can click on the table napkins in the background, or another trick of
mine is to click on the whites of a person's eyes in a photo. But this white balance tool only
works if there are not competing sources of light. So on to the next tip fotografies gamou. The second
tip I can offer you is to pay attention to your light sources fotografies gamou. It is easy to
recognize when your light source is sunlight, but also recognize when your light source is tungsten or fluorescent. Furthermore, you
need to make sure there are not competing light sources when possible. This means if you are using a fill
flash, it may need a colored gel to match your main light source. Don't worry; this is a lot easier
than it sounds. The color temperature of a flash without any gels is made to match natural daylight. So if
you are using the flash as fill outside during normal daylight hours (that is, not sunrise or sunset) you don't
need any colored gels. The same goes if you are shooting indoors and your main light is the daylight coming
in through the windows. I find myself in this situation a lot when I am shooting the bride getting ready.
It is usually still early in the day and most of the light is natural daylight. If there are some
small lamps on in the room, I may turn them off so that the only light sources are the daylight
coming in the window, and my fill flash. I hope these tips help you begin to recognize the many different
possible light sources you may find during a wedding. In part two of this article, I will explain how achieve
correct light balance in more complex situations.

It's not often that you are the only wedding photographer in town. If you are of course, then you don't
have any competition and therefore don't need to read any further fotografies gamou. More realistically, you are one of
many and need to offer something special in order to increase your share of the market and so increase your
income. Let your competition pose their newlyweds in front of the same old boring backgrounds or pray for good weather
so they can do a photo shoot in the local park. You can offer to take your clients to far
away lands and never have to worry about the weather. You can actually do all this on a very small
budget with the new wedding photography techniques and never have to leave the comfort of your studio. You can place
your bride and groom in all sorts of romantic locations from a castle in Scotland to a resort in the
Maldives. All you actually need is a piece of green cloth and a computer. You just set up a green
screen, photograph your clients in front of it and then use green screen computer software to place them in any
location they want. This equipment isn't expensive nor is the technique difficult and it also means that you no longer
have to buy lots of different backgrounds or carry heavy equipment to difficult locations. gamos The green screen is
easy to use. All you need to do is load the photo of your couple and a photo of the
location that they have decided upon. The software then easily replaces the green screen with the scenic image and cleverly
blends the images to give a natural effect. This means that you can now offer your clients something special that
your competition can't. If you advertise that your studio can take them away to far away lands for their wedding
photographs without any expense or travel involved, then you will be able to increase your customers. With green screen wedding
photography techniques, you can photograph people anywhere on earth, the only limit is their imagination. This should give you a
fabulous portfolio of portraits in romantic locations so your clientele will grow and grow.
